The dead were cast out, people acted like they were dead and ignored their parents, friends and relatives. So the dead in exile gathered together and formed their own communities. For a while, that was all, but then the birth rates started dropping, babies were miscarried or born undead, people became sterile, and the dead were blamed for all. Wars broke out, but they only served to strengthen the Nation of the Dead..."'' |

- Genre fantasia (Dark, apocalyptic) - Maailma ilman todellista kuolemaa - Syntyvyys laskussa, ajautumassa pikkuhiljaa pisteeseen jossa kaikki ovat "kuolleita" - Maailma jakautunut Elävien ja Kuolleiden kesken -- Aiemmin maailmassa ollut jumal(i)a, mutta kadonneet/kuolleet -- Maailmassa kuolevien olentojen henget eivät pääse "toiselle puolelle" vaan jäävät mätänevien ruumiidensa vangeiksi. -- Nämä zombiet karkoitetaan elävien parista, ja ovat ajan saatossa kerääntyneet joukoiksi ja muodostaneet oman valtakunnan -- Elävien ja kuolleiden välillä kitkaa, kuolleet kadehtivat eläviä ja ovat samalla vihaisia "kohtalostaan" -- Elävät kadehtivat kuolleita näiden "kuolemattomuudestan" ja samalla vihaavat ja pelkäävät näitä (monistakin syistä, esim. murhaajat pelkäävät murhaamiansa) -- Kuolleet "zombeja", luurankoja, aaveita yms, riippuen kauanko kuolleena: näiden ruumiit mätänevät normaalisti mutta henki säilyy maailmassa -- Kuolleiden mahdollisuudet vaikuttaa maailmaan muuttuu ajan myötä.. zombievaiheessa suht. samat kuin elävillä, luurankovaiheessa alkaa hengen vaikutus nousta (liikkuu tahdonvoimalla, ei väsy jne.) mutta puhekyky katoaa. Kun luut on tomuna, on pelkkä henki/tahto joka pystyy vaikuttamaan ympäröivään todellisuuteen (illuusioita jne. efektejä)
