- Rules over some human lands
- Goblin scouts, Bugbear elite troops
- Humans live under tyranny and strife

Human Empire of Icordia
- Struggles againsts hobgoblins in the brink of civil war
- Internal struggling between two rival families for the crown

Brotherhood of Mages
- Most of the wizards come from single monastery dedicated to teaching magical art
- Ruled by the council of Three

Warlocks
- Former members of the mage brotherhood
- Dabbled in the Black arts and were expelled or left the monastery
- Mages and Warlocks hate each other and avoid each others company
- Both sides scheme in secret against each other, which seldom comes to bloodshed

Warforged & battlegolems
- Created for the Goblin Wars by human empire of Shadaril.
- Warforged are self-reliant, serving as mercenaries
- Battlegolems are rare, gigantic combat machines

Shadarites (tieflings)
- Former people of the Shadaril Empire who fought and lost in the Goblin Wars.
- Before losing, tried to bargain with devils.
- Now minions and ruled by devils, tainted by devil blood.

- Elves fight guerilla warfare againts the goblins in their forest nation of Ael Thayr
- Live with their beast companions
