Argnosians are the sturdy people who form the majority of the people living in the center of the Argnos continent. They have established a great empire called the Midia or the Midian Empire, and they rule all the lands between the great Urial's lake and the Northmountains. Argnosians have two passions, first being their religion and worship of Denel the Lightbringer, and other being war and conquest.

Argnosians are internally divided in to three different ethnic groups, which also define their social classes. The ruling class are the etrudis, who were the ruling tribe and major power behind the Midian empire. All the nobles and major figures are etrudis. Visgaars were another great tribe that was conquered by the etrudis before the forming of Midia. They are an oppressed minority that occupies the northern and western reaches of the empire. Third and newest addition are the skyyras, who were conquered only a few decades ago. Skyyras live in the eastern reaches of the empire and are they are still in the process of being assimilated in the midian culture. As such, large numbers of Midian imperial legions are stationed in the eastern provinces.

Argnosian skintones range from fair, light brown to tanned red and brown, with sand-colored to dark black hairs and green, grey, brown or blue eyes. Average height of the argnosian males is 5'5", and weight 150 lb, females being slightly smaller and lighter.
