Racial features

  • +2 to One Ability Score: Half-orc characters get a +2 bonus to one ability score of their choice at creation to represent their varied nature.
  • Medium: Half-orcs are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Normal Speed: Half-orcs have a base speed of 30 feet.
  • Darkvision: Half-orcs can see in the dark up to 60 feet (see darkvision.)
  • Intimidating: Half-orcs receive a +2 racial bonus on Intimidate skill checks due to their fearsome nature.
  • Orc Blood: Half-orcs count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race.
  • Toothy: Some Half-orcs’ vestigial tusks are massive and sharp, granting a bite attack. This is a primary natural attack that deals 1d4 points of piercing damage. This racial trait replaces the orc ferocity racial trait.
  • Weapon Familiarity: Half-orcs are proficient with greataxes and falchions and treat any weapon with the word “orc” in its name as a martial weapon.
  • Languages: Half-orcs begin play speaking Common and Orc. Half-orcs with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: Abyssal, Draconic, Giant, Gnoll, and Goblin.

Background

Step 1

1) Vanhemmat tuntemattomia, kasvoi chelaxialaisen aatelissuvun orjana kunnes pääsi pakenemaan suvun asunnon jouduttua tuntemattoman tahon hyökkäyksen kohteeksi. Saapui Korvosaan jossa eli kadulla. (8-10v?)
2) Korvosan katujen kasvattama palkkionmetsästäjä joka usein turvautuu "likaisiin temppuihin" (dirty fighting)
3) Entinen shiver-addikti, syyttää Gaedren Lammia Gaedren Lamm houkutteli katulasten jengiin, jossa tutustui Korvosan pimeään puoleen.
4) Lamm hakkasi henkihieveriin ja jätti kuolemaan koettaessaan irtautua jengistä. (14v.) Ryömi piiloon paikkailemaan haavojaan ja palasi kosto mielessä. Löysi Lammin, joka kuitenkin vakuutteli väärinkäsitystä ja hyvän tahdon osoituksena tarjoutui esittelemään Gark's Boys jengiin, johon pääsikin hangaroundiksi. Jengi toimi palkkionmetsästäjinä, joukkoa johti puoliörkki Gark Mustahammas. Lamm halusi vain yhden pienen vastapalveluksen tästä..
5) Äärimmäisen taikauskoinen Harrow Deckien ennustusten suhteen, kantaa vanhaa, "löytämäänsä" pakkaa aina mukanaan ja konsultoi sitä aina valintatilanteissa.
