Our single-player campaign that ran the longest, and technically the character is still alive and this could be continued.
Steve Lund was at the start, I think, assassin solo, highly efficient in close combat. He did some odd jobs, but then got in trouble with the Red Flag Army terrorists and had to vanish. His friend, fixer named Samppa got him on to his payroll as a personal assassin, trained him further into the ninja arts and then paid him to have a plastic surgery which transformed Steve in to Arnold Schwarzenegger look-a-like (no kidding, we thought "Arska" was the coolest man alive back then..). His new identity was Mike Drawford and he did jobs for his friend, until some of Samppas rivals bombed Samppas crib, and Shadow had to vanish again.
After that, Shadow joined NCPD, and stayed few months as a patrol cop before he was fired. Then he joined Trauma team, where he made friends with his team. When they left Trauma, they stayed together.
Campaign sort of died with the general lack of gaming & other stuff (me going to army and then moving away). Also, tried too Epic with making Night City's corporations trying to purge the Warzone of its inhabitants (shadow and his gang being one of them of course).
Back then I couldn't hold the strings in the end, mostly because lack of planning. I didn't have a clear idea about what was happening and what was going to happen. I created drama by having characters NPC girlfriend die, but never followed it. Too bad :/
