Adventures of Hagar (& friends) (1991 - 1993, CFD)

Played in 7th and 8th grade, and _the_ campaign that made me and Mikael friends. Hagar survived all the adventurers, while his partners changed when Tero K got bored, forgot his sheet or just died. I'm not sure if we even had more than one "dungeon" we went to.. it was this manor adventure from Sininen Lohikäärme, which I ended plagiating quite a few times (that great was the impact on me :). We purged the manor from it's denizens and made it our headquarter, bought few guards in there and stored our treasure. Then, when we came back from somewhere, it was overrun by bugbears or hobgoblins, and we left it for them (such cowards we were..)

We stopped when Tero K started hanging out with the "bullies", after which he started making fun of us. Go figure :). Hagar then moved on to another campaign, with Tero A's fighter guy.

Hagar & Some Fighter Guy (1993-1994, CFD)

Hagar joined with Tero's character, whose name is lost (along with his character sheet). I remember we made some campaign-crossover deals with Sinar, I think.. Hagar obtained elven boots(?) in exchange for something the other character wanted.

Played at least Palace of the Silver Princess, but certainly other adventures too, before converting the characters to the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons ruleset, which handicapped Hagar badly. Though he never was powerful, his biggest score, dexterity, being 14 or 15, he at least had few bonuses in D&D.

Hagar's most prized equipment was, along with the elven boots and cloak(?), his "magical sword", a sword that casted continual soft blue light when unsheathed. It didn't have any magic bonuses but it was still so cool.

Around this time it had become evident that Hagar was extremely unlucky (in my opinion at least) and it was a real miracle he had survived this long.

Hagar & Some Fighter Guy (1994, TPK, CFD)

Unsuccessful conversion from D&D to AD&D resulted to us being killed in the first adventure. Boy, was I pissed :). Hagar succeeded, for the first time ever, in backstabbing, but unfortunately the target was an illusion, and the mage in turn clubbed him to death. Actually, I'm not sure if Hagar would've died or if Mikael would've showed mercy, but I was so furious about the turn of events that I proceed to rip the character sheet in pieces...

I found some old pictures of Hagar.. first one depicts him with his sword drawn, in knee-deep water. The second one is a picture of Hagar's deaths. There is a crushed statue (living statue we fought first) and a shadow of a staff-wielding person on the wall, the mage who was his doom. Rest in Peace, Hagar the Unlucky.
